So, it all comes down to three things....
But it was for me and you and all of humanity that He died and rose again victorious over sin, death, hell, and the grave - So That we too can be victorious in our daily life with Him through the Holy Spirit. His charge to us - to love, love, love.
God comes first with wholeheartedness. It is a choice - "But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve,.....But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD." (Joshua 24:15) Love is a verb, an action word. Choose to love God first and show Him with everything.
Your neighbor - believer and non-believer alike - comes second. Whatever loving yourself would look like, as seen through the eyes of God, love thy neighbor likewise.
Lastly, notice the words in Matthew 7:12 - "in everything" meaning in all circumstances, situations and/or opportunities with family, friends, and strangers? Do what? "Do to others what you would have them do to you" - beat them to the punch and serve them with love. I encourage us to love somebody how you would want to be loved and not expect anything in return at the same time - Creative Unconditional Love.
I imagine The Millennial Reign of Christ will be the manifestation of these verses. However, until that time comes and we rule and reign with Him in such an atmosphere we can practice what "All the Law and the Prophets hang on", that which "sums up the Law and the Prophets" - Love - In Summary.
